This guide is the result of the work and inspiration of many people. We owe a special debt of gratitude to Natela Jordan, Education Coordinator at the University of Minnesota Human Rights Center, who has been the driving force behind this curriculum. Throughout its development, she recognized the value of each story and gave each a considerable amount of thought and care. Without her tireless efforts, dedication, and coordination, this guide would not be possible.
